    Hi Caesar
I run my tanks on a 14 hour photoperiod 12 hours mh lighting and with 1 hour either side on fluro lighting everything seems to be doing very well under this period for me. I also have a caulepra sump that runs on 24 hour 150 watt mh illumination.

I do 12 hours on the Halides, left 1 on at 9 off at 9, Right one on at 10 off at 10. My Actinic is on a switch, so it goes on when either I or my wife wakes up.. Usually around 6:30 and Off when I go to bed, usually 10:30-11:30... I know I know, I should put that on a timer too, just haven't gotten around to it....
