Hi Chris,
Long time no seeIt's hard to tell on that coral with all those polyps extended, not that I'm that good at ID's but I would give it a shot if radial corallites could be seen. Regardless, though, they all beautiful and pics are very nice as well. I guess you got that camera, finally ;) Which one did you get? I remember reading your thread on RC but did not check out what you end up buying.
Kind regards,
Gene.

Hey Gene,
How's everything? The first and fifth pictures are the same coral hopfully that helps. I ended up with the Cannon G5, love it so far still not real great at the picture thing yet.![]()
Chris
I thought as well that the fifth pic was of the same coralOriginally Posted by Chris Lakies
Perhaps A. humilis? Just judging by a colony formation and from a limited view of the radial corallites. I wish Kevin was here,he's much better at this things

I need to know so I can mark it somewhere and pay attention next time ;)

Most people on RC think it is a gemmifera as well. Thanks for the help! I switched from a 10KK XM DE to a 20KK AB DE about two weeks ago, I can already see the colors getting brighter!![]()
Chris
Usually the A. gemmifera I've seen come in with a noticeable sudden taper toward the tips. They tend to lose this in the captive environment without the extreme water flow rates. They get longer thinner branches and start to look like A. humulis IME.
