Lightbulb Tanks Algae Attack Pack

My tank has had LR in it now for 10 days.

My latest tests
PH 8.1
Amonia 0
N02 0
N03 10

It's clear the LR is kicking butt! Now my only problem is the bloom of Algae. It's looking bad in there

I'm thinking from what I've read I should be ok to bring in something to help the Algae at this point?? I had one of thes packages in mind.

http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/s...=25&pCatId=420

I'm not at all familure with any of those critters. I'm not familure with any critters for that matter! lol

I know I wanna stay away from fish at this point. From what I've read some of the best cleaner fish are kinda mean buggers so I won't add any damsels or anything like that till I get other more timid fish settled in. Also, I don't want anything that's not going to be good for corrals.

Anyone see anything from those packs that looks like it might do the job? Or do you have another suggestion?

OK,

I'm looking at these packages more and it sounds overkill for the 75 gal packeages. And they are expensive to boot.

I'm thinking now the standard 30 gal pack.

Scarlet Hermit Crabs 7
Mexican Turbo Snails or Margarita Snails 13
Dwarf Red Tip Hermit or Dwarf Zebra Hawaiian Hermit 20

Even that sounds like a lot to me? I'm about to order so if anyone thinks this sounds bad stop me quick!

I bought 6 Astrea and 6 Blue hermits from Kee's (my favorite LFS) for my 75 that is just coming out of cycling. They have already made a visible difference to the sand-bed, rock and glass algae coverage. I've seen some recommendations of as many as 100 hermits and 150 snails to do the same job - at about a buck a pop, that adds up real fast.

Personally, I prefer to buy a smaller number, and add to it over time and try to reach a balance where the crabs/snails are keeping the algae nicely in check without me having to suplement their feeding excessively because there are too many of them for the amount of algae available. The 30g pack doesn't seem like an excessive amount of critters, but remember that brown algae will slowly recede as your tank completes it's cycle.
