Bubble Algea
I think we have bubble algea. There are 3 blackish/gray semi-transparent bubbles on one the live rocks. If so I've heard I wouldn't want it, why? What's so bad about it?

I agree. Removing them very gently with tweezers (outside of the tank) is a good method.

How long has your tank been set up for? Is the algea slimmy?

bubble algea
Our tank has been up since 12/31/03. The bubbles are not slimmy, I removed them so I guess I will be okay.
