I just got some nice Chaetomorpha for my sump/refugium setup, and was wondering about lighting. Currently I have 2 24" NO (1 50/50 & 1 Aquasun on 24hrs) sat on the top of the sump right over the refugium piece as in the following picture (before the refugium was mudded and the algae added!)
![]() Question : Is this enough light to grow Chaetomorpha successfully, or am I going to need to engineer something else in there ? Steve |

That should be fine - although if you add more light it might grow a little faster and therefore remove more nutrients from the water.
