Angry My pulsing xenia fell into a powerhead:( will it survive??

It looks like the seventh level of hell right now but so would I after a few hours on a powerhead cover. How tough are they? can he bounce back?

Yeah I think they "could" bounce back. Obviously it will be determined by how healthy were they, how bad did they get damaged and how healthy is your tank.

Give um a few days and see how it goes.

My experience with xenia is that if there is a bit of tissue left it will eventually grow into a new colony. How did it fall into a powerhead though? Once it's attached, it usually doesn't go anywhere.....

It was attached to a small piece of rock that fell on top of the pump that feeds the fuge on the back of the tank! I almost died. It is damaged but it seems to be recovering, I am keeping a close eye on it. I'll keep ya posted and I hope your right.
