Nice fish.

I've got a love/hate relationship with dottybacks. My neon dottyback was a model citizen (though he completely wiped out my pod and worm population) for several years and then he got very territorial. He killed a good number of expensive fish. I had to pull the reef apart to get him out.....he now resides in my 10 gal nano with a mantis shrimp. They take turns swiping at each other.

Thanks. This guy pretty much wiped out my worm population as well, but it's worth it to me. I love the color of this fish and its inquisitive nature. The Springer is pretty mellow as dottybacks go. When I've introduced new fish he would pester them for just a couple of days, then they'd be fine.

Cool fish! I also have a pseudochromis...

He can be a pain to new fish too, but for the most part he is pretty mellow.
