aiptasia??

aiptasia??

on my LR i see these little spiral tubes on the rock half sticking out and it looks like a white flower, and it goes in and out of its tube, is this aiptasia or should i not worry? i tried taking a picture but its so small i cant get a good one, ill keep trying though, thanks

No, that is not Aiptasia and you needn't be worried. It is just a tube-dwelling polychaete worm, a small feather duster of sorts.

awsome thanks ninong i was reading threads about aiptasia and i got worried, i also see a little anemone looking thing on the rock, it looks like a really TINY bubble anemone the bottom of it is red, this thing is REALLY tiny, could this be aiptasia? i will try and get a pic

I don't know what the little tiny red thing might be but if it is truly red, then it is probably not Aiptasia.
