Wow, I really like that first acro, the one yellow with purple tips. Not that any of the others are particularly shabby, either.

Hi
Chuck
As always ime very impressed with your marine tank considering your realisticlly smallish volume that your playing with compared to most SPS tanks ive seen. So hows the tank going minus the DSB ? I remember reading a previous post when you stated that you where relying on powerheads to keep denitrutus from covering the bottom and to keep it moving in the water so you could remove it via a filter matt on the overflow .Hows this working chuck and have you noticed anything on the chemistry side to say that the tank is not functioning as well as with the DSB in the early days .The reason i say that is ime from the frame of mind that DSB work great for a limited amount of time and when the bed cannot function as good as previouslly they begin to leach nutrients back into the system. Anyway the photos are awesome and ime sorry about the length of post and the amount of questions .The reason ime so intrested in what YOU are doing is ime keen to do the full conversion on my mainly LPS DSB 6 footer. I would love to have a SPS dominated reef .Ive got all the equipment it just a matter of removing the DSB and parting with the majority of LPS corals .Work has allready started i removed the majority of all my soft corals and sold them and cleansed my rock work of those horrible mushrooms and aquired a extra 150 pounds of live rock that is curing as we speak.Yep my house is a tad stinky at the moment thankfully my wife is very considerate to my needs. Thanks for helping Mia |
