Let's play name these anemones !

Can you name these anemone ? I thought maybe Majano but all the photos I've found on them they are green. These are pink-red. I do have a couple of aiptasia on the same rock, but they look nothing like these.

    Thanks!

    Unhappy

hey all, first let me say yes i know this is an old posting (just dont want you all to think im crazy lol ). well anyhow we recently bought a bta from our lfs w/rock it was attached to. i have those same evil looking things on my rock w/bta . if i have the rock isolated so to speak surrounded by sand and not touching anything else will those little things spread to other areas of tank????? also will it kill my bta eventually. and finally how do you all recommend getting rid of them without harming anything else in the tank????? will my peppermint shrimp eat them??? he really does a good job an apatasia. right now i count about 7 of them. and they range in size i think the biggest is probally about an 1" high.

thanks for any advice you can give us on this topic.

    kill them little critters

I got rid of them with "Joe's Juice". Very simple to use. Comes with a plastic syringe(no needle needed). All you do is shake the bottle real good, suck up a little juice in the syringe, reach in the tank and squirt a little right on the critter. It will suck down into a little depression/hole and never bee seen again. The juice is heavy enough to mostly stick right where you squirt it. It hasn't hurt anything I have in the tank and is guaranteed to be reef safe.

    Good luck !

I only had 8 or 10 to do so I can only speak from that experience. It takes very little of the juice on each one so use it sparingly.
