Ric Yuma HELPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had rics for over 3yrs now! I've proped them without problems before many times. However, I recently purchased a blood red ric yuma from a LFS, and it's now down to it's slime. I've had it for close to a month now. when I got it, it never really looked settled in. It looked kind of unconfortable. It started to go from the center about 10 days after arrival. I put the ric in front of the fresh flow exiting my UV and it kicked off the sliming. So for about a week it did alright, once again forming a new oral cavity. Around 5 days ago, the oral cavity started to slime again, except that this time, I haven't been able to contain the spreading. It's now down to the base. Just hope some of it survives. I'm just REALLY freaked b/c one of my orange ric yumas started to slime from the oral cavity as well. Could this be some sort of contagious pathogen????? Please HELP!!! I'm going nutz!!!

Luis!!!!

Bro wasssup!

Hey Luis

I know its not a magical answer but do you have a Q-tank? I would quarantine it thats for sure. Im kinda on the side saddle on UV killing possible food or other possible ailments in the water as well as killing the parasitic problems. have there been any drastic changes lately? any changes at all? I know you know how to take care of corals and if it can recoup you will get it done. Is the slime stringy, I have witnessed the stringy slime which is apparently common for them to expell (atleast they have been w/mine) but still come thru w/out any problems. Hope yer yumas get well soon bro

Nothing has really changed in the past few months in my tank!! Except the 30% water change I just performed two days ago, in an attempt to aid my yumas. I can't figure it out man!! But I am gonna take some rics to my boy Taeto, just to have back ups in case they go Afghanistan on me!!
Well, take care man! Hope your farms is open to me soon man!!! Let me know, and I'll drive right on up!!!! Send my best to the Misses and the dogs!!
