Hi Guys
Have a clam question i cant find a good answer on. Looking for a good looking clam species to put in a 150G tank. The tank is 60Lx24wx24h (inches) and preferably, want someting i can put on the sand substrate. I will have a single 250W MH balanced with a VHO actinic, plus a few NO's for the LR and fish. Just a little worried that i'll get one that'll outgrow me... Cheers |

You can place any of the Tridacnds under the 250 MH. In nature T.crocea and T,maxima are on the rocks and the other species are on the sand.
T. squamosa and T.derasa grow fairly fast if water quality is good where T. maxima and T. crocea are slower growning clams. |
