I wouldn't order Ricordea and have it shipped via USPS Priority Mail. In fact, I wouldn't order anything alive and have it shipped USPS.

FedEx Overnight will cost you a bunch of money. Have you checked around to see if you can find any Ricordea locally?

Yeah I would Fedex overnight, but as ninong has said, it will be costly. Unless of course you order a bunch of other stuff along with it to make it worthwhile.

If it is packaged correctly it will not be a problem in 2 day priority mail. Over the years I've had a lot delieved that way.

    Ray,

You've had a lot of Ricordea ATTACHED TO ROCKS delivered Priority Mail? Your Post Office employees must be different from my Post Office employees. I have watched them toss packages from the front counter to the wagons 15-ft behind them. And I doubt if the "THIS SIDE UP" or "FRAGILE" stickers make much difference.

I can also vouch that it won't make much of a difference if it is a Fedex or USPS either. None of them are very "gentle"

I've had and shipped Live fish, and Corals that way for years. Rarely has it been a problem.

What about Ricordea attached to rocks? Wouldn't the rocks crush the Ricordea if the box is overturned in transport? Can the USPS be trusted to not overturn a box in transport?

I've never shipped a ricordia that way, but it should not be a problem if packaged in water correctly.

I trust them as much as the Airlines , UPS, Fed Ex, Air Borne express etc...
