    Hi Nick,

That is a lot to have in the tank, especially being 2 months old. Your only option nowis to stop buying anything and get into your maintenance routine, performing the water changes, making sure your supplement additions are consistent and letting things grow.

I have the same size tank.... i do a 20-25 gallon change at least once a month. Changing the water does several things for you... it will help you keep harmful things such as nitrates, phosphates, and possibly ammonia, all within a safe range. with your clown MIA. i would really start watching your ammonia levels. have you checked your overflow? by the way. do you have a sump, a refugium, or canister, if so how big? water changes also allow you to replinish trace elements in the water that are taken up by the life... many salts contain some of these elements... I would suggest you start testing your water to make sure nothing is wrong or slightly off. its much easier to correct somehting when the problem is starting.

fewer water changes may be ok for fish only tanks.... but your tank is not a fish only tank, so start changing that water. and if you dont have one already invest in an RO/DI filter. this will also solve many problems down the road.

Agreed. Two months is too short. YOur tank has maybe finished cycling but is no where near stable enough yet I waited 8 months before adding any corals or fish, and just had live rock, heater, powerheads, pump. Some say that is overkill, but I would wait at the earliest 4 months before even adding anything, and i'm speaking of new tanks.
