Angry HELP!! What ate my Anenomea??

Today I found pieces of my RBTA and Pink Haitian BTA in shredds all over my tank!!! I found the "foot" of the RBTA and it looks like something just took big hunks off of it.

    I feed every other day.
    I have:
    2 - Clowns
    2 - Blue Damsels
    1 - three strip
1 - yellow and blue something that I think is another of the damsel family
    2 - Emerald green crabs
    1 - Cleaner shrimp
1 - Green open brain coral
    1 - Mushroom coral colony
    1 - Carpet anen.
    2 - BTA's left
Assortes snails and blue legged hermits.

    What went wrong here???
    ANY HELP IS APPERCIATED!!!!

Well..... I can't guarantee they are the culprit in YOUR tank, but I recently added a bta to my 50gal... and the ONLY other occupants so far are 5 common blue damsels...
They tore it to pieces, and left VERY little evidence... These buggers are NOT starving, they are fed very well, prime reef flakes, frozen brine shrimp, and a mixture I made myself including a large variety of foods, which they go nuts over!
I liked the damsels alot when I bought them... They are my favorite color, such a pretty blue..... however, they're toast as soon as I can catch the lil SOB's! I will not make that mistake again, I promise you!

Do you have any powerheads in the tank? Are they anemone proofed?

I doubt that damsels could inflict such damage ont he anemone, large crab perhaps but my guess would be that it was something mechanical that shreded your anemone.
    Kind regards,

    Gene.

I do..... two, and yes they are... and there is nothing else live in my tank besides the damsels... even the rock is not live... yet anyway. There is nothing else that could have gotten my anemone... nothing.
Well, I have 3 tiny soft coral frags in there now, and a toadstool frag... but those weren't there when I placed the anemone in.... it was my plan to get the anemone in and situated, comfortable... and then place a few soft frags, and then transfer my true percula pair...
I actually intended to get a couple anemones, and perhaps a couple long-tentacle-type corals too, just to be sure the clowns are happy... and that was all I was going to put in this tank besides inverts... the damsels were to cycle the tank, and because I thought they were gorgeous... was told they're reef safe... but maybe reef safe isn't safe enough.
Either way, damsels be damned on my list of creatures to care for... They're just plain MEAN! I probably wont flush them... as much as I would want to, but I have no intention of keeping them once I can catch them.. I will probably just pull out all the rock and net them when I get some time, and give em back to the lfs that sold em to me.. pia, but oh well, a lesson well learned. Better learned now than when the tank is done and stocked.
