30 gal filtration

hey

i currently have a Cpr bak pak on my 30gal cube and barely a 3 in sand bed, so i take the sand bed out of consideration for a DSB. so i was wondering what kind of filter can i get to replace me not having a DSB of at least 4 in? any ideas would be great thanks

sorry i did make it a little confusing, but i was refering to a canister filter or any type of filtration i can use to substitute a deep sand bed(DSB), becuase my sand bed is barely 3 in. so if anyone can please help me out it would be great, thanks

Do you want a DSB, and if so, why not just add the sand? You have plenty of height in your tank.



A canister filter doesn't really act like a DSB. It is more mechnical in nature. And I prefer something physically removing crud from the water.
