I have a new red tailed fairy wrasse I just added to my tank this week. I just noticed today he has one cloudy eye. I am soaking the food in Kyolic garlic. What else should I do? He is a very sharp fish and has just begun to stay out, which is why I just noticed the eye problem. This is in my 168g reef tank.

Cloudy eye is a symptom of many conditions--mostly those involving external parasites like ich, velvet, and broklynella (sp?). OR it could mean nothing at all.
Is he exibiting any other outward signs of distress?

Yep, I agree. My Flame and Coral Beauty both developed a cloudy eye. All I did was feed them Mysis ever day and It went away in
3-4 weeks. I think the wrasse will be just fine. Keep a eye on him and the others though. SHOG ![]() |

I guess he got stressed in the transfer from the LFS to my tank. He had been at the LFS for a while and probally was content. I will soak in both garlic and vitimans and keep a eye on him. He's a great looking fish.
