so frustrated
hey guys...
ive got some bad news, my dad just called the LFS i bought the tang and butterfly i mentioned in the other thread. and he talked to the store manager and she said that she was an expert and she wouldnt be working there if she wasnt. so she said that the tang and butterfly were perfectly suitable for my 30gal cube... hmm i dont really know who to believe, this website wich i have been reading and researching on everyday for the longest time now, or some expert store manager  i am really frustrated now... the lady on the phone said that i can bring in a sample of my tank water and they would test it and give me medication to treat the ICH, but that just sounds like another one of there ways on getting money off the meds... so now im going crazy, and i really dont want to take back the fish to the lfs becuase i dont trust them now that i have heard this lady, and if i bring them there, they probably will end up dead becuase it seems like they suck at their jobs. so now im stuck with 2 fish that i have no idea about. i dont know ANYONE who has a saltwater tank around here, or really anywhere. so please someone help me out with some words of wisdom here, i really would appreciate it. oh yea the lady also said that maybe the fish will outgrow the tank in 6 to 7 years, but not now.

Well as we have warned before, that is typical advise from a LFS; owners and employees and the fact that she calls herself an expert is a dead give away.
 Maybe an expert at ripping people off for their money but...Those fish are not suitable for a 30 gallon tank and you can bet that the medication they want to sell you either is ineffective or not-reef safe (i.e. Cu) but I'm sure they won't tell you that either unless however you mention that you are interested in setting up a hospital tank at which point they agree that Cu cannot be used in the display and they will quickly offer you some equipment to use for the Q-Tank. Do a search here and the other boards and make a desicion for yourself who to beleive; 5,000 hobbyist or an "Expert LFS". |

It would definitely be better but make sure to get rid of the ICH before hand.

i wish i had a job...
anyways, would it be safe to cure the 2 clowns, the butterfly, and the tang in the 10gal hospital i set up? or would the tank have to be bigger

nvm that, im not keeping this fish. i am planning on taking them back tommarow, but i dont know what to put them. how am i sopposed to take them back to the store?? do i need to go out and buy some kind of plastic bags or something?

You can just use big Ziploc Freezer bags or some kind of rubbermaid container with a lid.
