Hi widge, welcome to Reefland!

What species of clownfish do you have? What species of anemone do you have?

Hi there,

I have two black clown fish, I also have two anenimi (sorry about spelling) for clowns, but they are not going into it. Is there anything I could do to make it more inviting for them?

Widge.

There is not really anything that you can do. Clownfish in the wild have known associations with specific clownfish-hosting sea anemones. In captivity they will almost always accept those species of anemones as a host and will sometimes accept other species that are not natural hosts.

Sorry, but I have no idea what species of clownfish you have because several different clownfish species have black coloration. If I knew the species of clownfish, I could tell you which species of anemones are its natural host. And if I knew which species of anemone you have I could tell you which clownfish species it naturally hosts.

Perhaps you could describe the appearance of your "black clownfish" and the appearance of your two anemones.
