Question So many questions!

Couple questions if you do not mind:

1- How do I know if the kalkwasser in Kalkreactor is all used up and needs more?

2- pH was perfect (8.19-8.35) and now after my monthly water change dropped down (8.05-8.17). why?

3- How do you know if a birdsnest SPS frag is not doing well? I see white tips which I assume means new growth, but don't know too much of what else to look for.

Did you not let it settle out? You need to wait for the kalkwasser after mix up to settle out and turn clear atleast the midcolumn which is where you tap from. Are you using the limewater for water changes too?

No I did not use limewater for my water changes. I have a feeling that the waterchange brought my alk down, which affected my pH. Now that its been a acouple of days of dripping kalk, my pH is going back up.
