Mushroom turning whitish color/loosing color?

I have a colony rock of red green dotted and striped mushrooms. I have about 10 leaves on the rock. One of the leaves is loosing color and turning whitiish. IN fact, it is like a creamy white, and i see a faint light pinkish color. The oters are deep purple/reddish.

What is going on?? The mushrrom leaf next to the white one is actually fine and has original coloration.

Is this one just dying on me??

Regards,
Ilham

Elmo-

I have some white mushrooms I got from my LFS. I'm starting to think they're just bleached from too much light, because now they're starting to turn clear, and some of the little frilly things are turning brown. This is an old picture (about 6 months ago.)

Waterboy,
what happened to your mushrooms. Did they recover their colour. I also have mushrooms that have lost their colour and are becoming transparent and shrinking. I assumed it was because of the high tank temperature.

Elmo,
How are your mushrooms doing?

Karun,
Just threw these out this morning. I have no idea what the problem was. They were under ~6W/gal of power compact, low flow. I don't know what makes them bleach, and then turn brown like this.

I had the same problem except that I bought them cream colored and they bleached white. After a few months they turned green. Here are the pics taken at 2 month (+or_ a week) intervals:

The last picture was taken in Feb and they ale a little more green now. They are in a mostly shaded area away from any direct light from the 400 watt 6500K Iwasaki's. Bob
