Okay I found this great website on little critters that may be present on new live rock. I am pretty sure that what I thought was a mantis shrimp of some sort is actually an amphipod. What a relief! I have actually seen more than one of them tonight and thay are starting to grow on me a little!

Now to get that bristle worm. I have my pantyhose trap on the LR and the worm is out poking around on it but it doesn't seem to be getting tangled up in it. Anyone have suggestions as to why? Am I not doing it right? I have a rock and some shrimp pieces placed inside the pantyhose, tied knots around both ends and placed it right over the worm. He is now, as I write this, crawling on it but it doesn't seem to phase him one bit! Thanks for the help guys! I am learning so much about this through this site and I am so grateful that I found it!
