Profile of a Reefland BB User! 2

Ninong: Relax! I've saved you the work of moving this to General Discussions by posting it there too.

After lurking and posting for a few months, I've determined the profile of a typical Reefland Bulletin Board poster:

* 180 gallon tank.
* 4" deep sand bed, 2 lb LR per gallon, and an expensive skimmer.
* Orders from Marine Depot, Premium Aquatics, IPSF, IA, and Jeff's Exotic Fish.
* Lives in Florida or California.
* Is an engineer of some sort.
* Thinks PETA has some good ideas.
* Is a Democrat and hates George W. Bush.
* Worries at night about a Federal ban on a piece of d**m seaweed.
* When not worrying about weeds at night is peering into a tank with a flashlight marveling at all the bugs in the water.
* Owns some other "fringe" type of animal, i.e. lizard, snake, gecko, or tropical bird.
* Has a good explanation for his/her spouse why it is perfectly reasonable to pay $6 per pound for rocks or $99 for a bag of bugs and worms.
* Is more passionate in his hatred for Rio pumps than for social injustice.
* Takes more photos of his Sally Lightfoot Crab than of his kids, (all digital of course.)
* Has spent many hours debating whether to add molybdenum and Strontium to his/her water.
* His/her Caulerpa "goes sexual" more often then he/she does.
* Who am I kidding with the his/her shtick...he's a "he."

*

Got 5 right on me. Almost 6 but I ditched that engineering thing after 2 years for accounting (degree only, never did any accounting work - I have not even balanced my checkbook in 2+ years).

nah I am a republican i love bush..he's good for a laugh plus iam getting another $300 back..Why knock that.. Iam not maried..i actually spend more money on my car than my tank..Although the $300 refund is going to buy my RO/DI>>and i only have a 90 but it has a 25gallon sump and i have another 25gallon reef..so 140gallons is close to a 180..

Unhappy

Right on 6 for me. Unfortunately one of them is about the caulerpa going sexual more often than me.

One other profile characteristic that I forgot:

* True reefkeepers seem to have a good sense of humor.

However, some of the wannabes apparently don't.

I think this is a very funny thread, you only got me on four of the items.
I will be getting married at the end of this month so the* His/her Caulerpa "goes sexual" more often then he/she does.
may be added to my list but I sure hope it doesn't!!
