yeah, they are awsome... but as always .. for the first few weeks i imagine it will take.. i have to get up everymorning and use a toothbrush. or a power head and clean my rocks and some corals.. he has made my sand bed look great... even my friends have asked me if i added more lights to the system, it is so much brighter!

but i still have a dust storm going on in there,,,

Wow, I didn't think there was ANYTHING that could keep green stars from opening. Use a paintbrush or turkey baster and brush/blow the silt off the corals. And I would advise getting and running a canister filter or other form of mechanical filter with a fine particle capability, to capture out the super-fine silt, then he won't be able to stir it up so badly.

Or maybe, (this is a guess) something like a sea cucumber, which would ingest the finer grains of sand, and I doubt they'd come out in the same ... texture as they went in?
I know when my cuke .. deposits.... the grains he ingests, it comes out kind of clump-ish.

ha, ive had the cukes for 4 years in there..... but they are pretty slow..... this last time i moved i only found 1.. so i guess i am 1 down.....the past few years i have been crabless... but i am going back to them... just to keep movement on the rocks and such.....

i have 3 frasgs of GSP's.... and i brush them off everyday....... and they still wont open... neither will any of my zoos and i have had some beautiful green(flourescent) and browns... that have all but just gone away since the sand storm....

i have been using a knee high to filter the sand.....

I wish I could take him off your hands, but the shipping would be far too much for one fish. Put an ad in the sell section, maybe you can sell him to someone local to you?
