Ya ya ok the dumb@ss sitting in my comp chair managed to completly miss the quote. Whatever Im stupid sorry.
It's no problem..... I know how the 'urge to kill' is ... been there, done that, yanno? 4 years now, and I'm very VERY happy that I quit, despite occasional moments when I think I want one.... I just mentally slap myself and put it out of my mind. I really do wish you luck!Originally Posted by Tank

Talk to your doctor, ask for a med. called Wellbutrin, or it's also called Zyban.... It WORKS. I smoked for 22 years, tried to quit.... well, I can't even begin to tell you how many times. The Wellbutrin helped me control the evil 'gotta kill something' urge, practically took it away. It is a little expensive, but if you don't have a good prescription plan, ask your doc for samples, they're usually good for that. I tried just about everything in the book, and I know, everyone has their thing that works, but nothing worked for me until this med.Originally Posted by Samper

Don't feel bad, Samper...I quit smoking four times now, the longest being 2 years. I am currently smoking and plan on quitting again very soon. It will be a lifelong battle. The good news is that the more often you quit, the more likely you will succeed when you finally do kick the habit. Good luck to you in your battle, I really hope you win. It will be a happy day when enough people quit that the tobacco companies will have to shut down due to lack of profit.Originally Posted by Samper

Just woke up Tuesday morning and felt that I didnt really need it anymore. Wife and kids are loving me right now.Anyway sorry again.

My dad and mom are both Family Practice MDs. The only problem is that they don't know I smoke.....sad at 22 that I can't tell my parents something like that but that's just how my parents are.

Hmmmmm what to put here???
My dad is also a GP so I hear ya. When they caught me smoking, (seems like a lifetime ago), the only thing they said was, "It's your body, and your health". The worst of it was the sound of disappointment in their voices.Originally Posted by Samper
