Definitely reacclimate them to the new bulb. The old bulb, depending on usage, lost plenty of intensity and the new bulb is going to provide a lot more bang. I would slowly work my way up to full period with the new bulb.
I got my new Ushio bulb from reeftanklighting.com today! dang, it is beautiful... my corals didnt have a chance to get too much of it cause i only turned it on for a few minutes.. it was so much brighter..... should i reacclimate my coral to the light, or do you think they will be ok??

The best way to acclimate corals to new bulbs according to the experts is as follows:
Go to you local HD and buy some fiberglass door screen. Cut it to a size that will lay over you reef tank, and put several layers of the screen over you tank. Over a period of 2 weeks remove a layer of the screen every several days untill you get thru them all. It makes good sense to me.
