Very nice,Charlie. Would you mind adding a whole tank shot? I would love to see it and I'm sure everyone else would as well.

Are you using strictly 20k metal halides or is it the pictures that give the blue appearance?

Yes, I am strictly using 20k halides-400w. Thanx for the compliments. The whole tank shot isn't real good, but I'll post it anyways.
For some reason, I am not getting e-mail notification when replies are made, sorry it took me so long to reply. Last edited by charlie; 08-29-2004 at 12:07 PM. Reason: not getting e-mail notification when replies are made |

Yeah, I checked that, and I went to my user cp and checked also. I didn't get any replies yesterday, but I just got this one, so I don't know what is goin on. I just wish I could get a wide angle lens, to take a better whole tank shot!!!!!!
Thanx again. |

Charlie how long have you been running the 20k's and do you run them only? What have you noticed about your corals coloring and the way they color up or change? If so what species did you see the change and what happened?
Very beautiful system man!! thumbs up.

I've been running the 20k's since the get go, 9 months now. I run them with actinic supplementation (vho). Everything has colored up fine. I have a red mille that turned just about pink with blue tips, and a red stylophora pistillata that has turned pink. Other than that, nothing has changed colors. My growth has been normal, betwwen 1/4 and 1/2" per month. No calcium reactor or Kalk reactor, just cacl2. I do drip kalk 24/7.
