Feather Duster Question |

Last night I was watching my feather duster and it was releasing some "stringy stuff" (like individual white feathers between 1 & 2 inches long) into the aquarium. This was about an hour after I had added the daily dose of Kent two part additive. I also use Kalk in all top off water.
Today he looks the same as always, not dying or anything. What was this, was it reproducing, dieting, what? Thanks, Ryan

I'm not really sure what that is, but mine does it all the time and is perfectly healthy.

I think it is a way of catching larger prey which would be like sand sized flakes, mine does it all the time and I think its a feeding mechonism
