Went lfs hopping yesterday with four guys from my area. Was very nice to talk to people face to face who aren't just out to sell me some junk. All in all we visited 6 shops in the raleigh durham area. For the whole day I spent 70 bucks and let me tell ya what I got. I bought a green closed brain about golf ball size, A twin polyp green candy cane. A 1" frag of orange montipora digita. A 8" 10 branch frag of green singulara. And a nice size rock of green starburst polyps. And my favorite piece...a torch who btw is very happy in my system as of this morning.
I spent two hours acclimating and I think I got the placement right. For the brain he is up very high with very little water flow. The candy cane is in an almost no flow area as is the green singulara. The digita is in a high flow high light area at the top and the starburst have medium flow medium light about half way down. The torch is in a pretty high flow area but he seems to be enjoying so far. I'll leave him until I notice anything negative. Had to do some powerhead aiming to get everything right but everyone seems to be happy Everyone I was with said I bought very nice pieces and assured me my light could handle them...hope I did the right thing..regardless I saw some sps systems yesterday that made me want one one day. Oh a guy is holding a euro reef ES5-2 for me until the 15th price $195, Also getting an all glass 75 with dual overflows drilled for 185........also on the 15th. Until then I"m gonna build a stand and sump. After all that I gotta save up and get the 14k halides with icecaps........slowly but surely gonna have the setup I want. The sps bug has grabbed me but I like the lps and softies also. Might end up with two systems. There is a frag swap on the 13th here and you can bet I'll be there.

Got to witness my brain feeding this evening, I can definately see why they become many reefers favorites. I wouldnt care if this guy encrusted my whole system.

They are wonderful corals and I would have a couple of I was doing a mixed reef. Brains and Frogspawns are pretty awesome if you ask me.

Only knowing a bit about your equipment and tank, I don't see any problems. Since I recommended the M. digitata to you, I hope it does well.
