Another creature ID please

Hi all,

I was just checking out the nightlife in my tank and I noticed a very long, elephant trunk (tanish-brown in color) looking creature coming out of the rock.

It was able to stretch itself very long without leaving the rock. Also seemed to be feeding on the algae anywhere within its reach, with a fan like projection that came out when it went to grab some food. Almost like a pickle grabber.

Doesnt seem to be bothering the goby sitting next to it but i wanted to get an opinon on what it might be.

Thanks

After almost 4 years of the tank running, its still amazing when you find something new in there that you have never seen before.

thanks everyone, after looking up peanut worm and seeing the pictures i would say that you are correct.

I guess its a "good guy" since they feed on detritus. That would explain the very clean area around its rock.

Thanks again
