Cutting leathers?

What is the best way to do it..... where do you cut?
I have a beautiful green leather that i would like to prop.. i had a baby come off of it on its own and it has almost doubled in size in the past month or so.... it was about an inch with 2 stalks.. now i know it is almsot 3 inches with 4 stalks... and they are a beautiful neon green.. how rare / desired is a leather like this? even if it isnt desired, i wouldnt mind having it all over my tank...

not sure if you can see it or the color.. but it is on the left... halfway up the water colum...

Rick,

I can't really comment on it's rareness of how desireable it is, but it should be as easy as any onther finger leather to cut. Find a branches with at least 2" of length to it, take a very sharp new razor blade and slice it using one clean cutting motion; don't saw it back and forth.

You should remove the entire coral into a seperate container when making this cut and you should immediately take the frag and string it to a small piece of rock.

I like to use bone cutters ,about an 8inch lenght ,snip the leather while it's retracked, at triangle shape, followed by zap glue swerld around in a circle on the frag and the rock, then do most of the attaching under water.
