Hi All,

Yesterday, June 3rd, the first meeting of the Rocky Mountain Reef Club was held at a LFS, Reef Gallery at 6:00 PM.

I will be involved in some TBD administrative function.

The purpose of this club, is to further knowledge and promote the hobby among any interested Colorado reef keepers. Livestock trading will also be a particular focus.

About a dozen enthusiasts attended.

Meetings are planned to occur on a monthly basis.

A web site will be established in the near future to provide information on club activities, a membership roster, a DIY, and a local livestock/equipment trading forum.

Initial meetings will probably be held at member’s homes.

There are no membership dues at this time.

Thanks to everyone who made our first meeting at Reef Gallery a big success. The club is now officially up and running with our new name, "Rocky Mountain Reef Club". It was great to meet fellow Denver area reefers. For those of you who were unable to attend our inaugural meeting, we hope to see you at upcoming meetings.
