Diamond Watchman Goby question
I bought 3 weeks ago 2 Diamond W. Goby. I wnet on a trip, when I came back one of the Diamong W. Gobies has not been seen in a while. The other, always, is sifter sand in front of the glass where everyone can see it. My question is: eventhough the Diamond W. Goby likes to hire and can be borrough in the sand, is it possible that could be kill by other fish or die for another reassons? Should I buy another Diamond W. Goby to have a pair and the one that I see everyday feels happy? I have a 100 Gallons tank with 250 lbs of live rock and a lot of hiring places. Also, the buddies that live in the aquarium are: 3 Tangs, 1 Maroon Clownfish with a Condy anemone (which I am changing in december), 2 Jawfish goobies and like 12 different kind of shrimp. Is it possible that the anemone eat the Diamond W. Goby? I just took out a mantis (1 inch long), can this critter cause a dead of a 2.5' Diamond W. goby? Thanks in advance

Hola santo69v, bienvenido a Reefland!
![]() It is possible that the goby was eaten by the Condy. Not too sure about a 1" mantis shrimp but maybe. They will certainly kill anything they can.

Diamond Gobies are notorious for leaping out of tanks. Look around your tank stand see if you find it there. I have lost 2 because of this, and the one I have now has leaped out once, but luckily I was there to put it back the tank.
Sad Day
