Thank ya. I can't believe how popular the blue tort is right now. I accidentally broke of a 1/4" piece of mine when I was cutting a frag of my birdsnest for the club meeting last Sunday. I was planning on just taking it in to see if anyone wanted it. Without really knowing it the 1/4" tort was put in the frag auction, ended up going for $24. Couldn't believe it.

I can't wait to see how it looks a year from now. It is one of the few corals that I have no plans of intentionally fragging, however accidents do happen, especially in my tank.

You won't regret switching to sps, it is very rewarding....most of the time. I don't regret making the switch. My tank is pretty much just sps and some zoanthids. There are also a few mushrooms, ricordia and button polyps that I haven't been able to get rid of but they aren't hurting anything yet.

Very nice tank, LowCel. Great job on aquascaping and I am really impressed that you have all captive frags and started your tank this way instead of filling it with wild caught huge colonies. Keep up the good work.

Mike, I have one that is growing pretty good but it is far from being a true blue piece. I'd say that it is more on the purple side if anything. One of this days it'll grow up to be fragged, so don't dispair.

Sweeet!

Your tank is looking great Lowcel

Your definately gonna have fun w/ growout, please keep us updated on how the process comes along. I really like the montis....especially the Dr. Mac one and the first mint green one...of course the tort is gorgeous too.

Great work!

Thanks everyone.

Zhenya, I only have one wild coral in my tank and I regret purchasing it. It is my pink birdsnest. I really enjoy being able to have my tank and know that I am having a very minimal effect on our natural reefs.

I believe I have pretty much all of the corals I am going to add for a while with the exception of a purple monster and some blue zoo's. Now I can just set back and watch them all grow.

Wow!! Looking at the full tank shot, I would say you are pretty well filled up! Let it grow for 6-12 months and I'll bet you will be cleaning house to make room!

Well I'm actually hoping to be buying a new house in 6-12 months and I am planning on getting a bigger tank at that time and building it inwall. I'm hoping for a 60" long x 24" tall x 24" deep when the time comes.
