Question Bi color blennie

I have a Bi-color blennie that has changed to a darker shade in time....the orange is bearly there.....he seems to be doing well.....he's a little pig and eats all the time.....does anyone know why the color change has occurred....is it a maturity thing?.....diet?.....I don't believe he's sick.

This is the only info I could find about the blenny changing colors.



"The front half of the Bicolor Blenny is brown and the rear is orange-red. During spawning, the male turns red with white bars and the female turns light brown and yellow-orange. After spawning the male becomes dark blue with light patches on each side of the body."

Thanks for the info.....I've seen the white bars come and go on the Blennies ' sides....(like tiger stripes) it's like a mood thing....when he gets freaked they come out or when he see's his reflection......so maybe it is a maturity thing.
Interesting......I really liked the orange he had......
