Need help....fish dying for unknown reason!!

I need help from anyone that may be able to help. My fish are dying and I dont know what may be causing it. First here is my setup: 105 gallon FOWLR tank that has a Turboflotor multi skimmer, 2 powerheads, 1 cleanner wrasse, 1 yellow tail tang, 2 banded coral shrimp. I had a lion fish and a trigger but those have since died. I also have an unknown tang that I have attached a pic of that is sick at this moment. The fish seemed to get white spots over them and thenslowly get worse and then die. The fish I have a pic of has a white film that has covered the eyes and it just swims slowly around the tank. At first I thought it was ich and my LFS suggested I use a purple colored treatment but that didnt work. I dont know what is happening right now but they all seemed to be infected. I talked to the LFS and they said to make sure my salinity was a little lower. I gradually brought the salinity down to 1.022 and it doesnt seem to help. I dont know if I have some type of poisinus algae or what in my tank. My crabs dont even move about like they use to. Can anyone help or offer any suggestions?

What are your current Water Parameters? Specifically Ammonia, Nitrite, PH, KH

How long has the tank been setup?

Lowering the Salinity to 1.022 will not kill Saltwater Ich. What was the Purple Colored treatment (Name)? Was it safe for Invertebrates?

It could be Ich in the tank. Do you have a Quaranteen tank? or another tank to hold the sick fish?

The other Unknown Tang looks like either Ctenochaetus strigosus or one of the many different Acanthurus species out there.
When I was in high school, I got in trouble with my girlfriend's Dad. He said, " I want my daughter back by 8:15." I said, "The middle of August? Cool!"

i am betting water quality issues... which have lowere immune systems.. the blue stuff is killing your inverts..
    cloudy eye isnt ICH...
im guessing the tank is being contaminated somehow..
Windex.. smoking, and aresol deodorizers.... any kind of airborne cleaning product...
or just lack of water quality..\ i say a good water change is needed, along with GOOD new Carbon filtration.......

Marine ich (Cryptocaryon irritans) looks like white grains of salt. Velvet (Amyloodinium) looks like white patches. Both are parasites. Both require that the fish be removed from the aquarium and treated in a separate hospital tank. Both require that the main display aquarium remain fallow (without fish) for at least four to six weeks.

...my LFS suggested I use a purple colored treatment but that didnt work.
Any idea what it was? Was it a German product or an American product? Did they know you were treating in a reef tank? Perhaps this "treatment" is what is causing problems for your crustaceans?

It is kind of like a grainy type. I dont have a tank I could place the fish in. I'm so upset now. Will ich kill my fish? Im kind of new to this...never had a disease fish. The poduct was german. He knew I was using it for a reeef system. But then again this is the same LFS that sold me the wrong lighting for a reef system. Can the fish be treated in my main display tank? Also my yellow tailed tang looks like he hasn ate in weeks but he still feeds. Is this a symptom of ich also? I guess that is what is wrong with my crabs...but my banded coral shrimp are doing fine looks like.

Not really. There are no effective treatments that are also completely reef-aquarium safe. The two most commonly used treatments for ich are either copper or hyposalinity. Both must be done in a separate hospital tank.

The only thing that you can try in the main display tank is to feed food soaked in garlic extract or to include very finely minced fresh garlic in the food. Sometimes that works if the situation is not severe. At least it doesn't harm anything to try it. Kyolic garlic extract is sold at health food chains, such as GNC. Add several drops of garlic extract to the food or you can simply add about half a teaspoon of very finely minced fresh garlic to the food before you feed it to the fish. Just place the fish food in a cup of tankwater and add the minced garlic. Let it soak together for 15 minutes and then feed all of it to the fish.

Im looking at the fish and I dont know if it is ich becaue the eyes are covered in a fim and the fish almost swims as if it were blind. he use to swim fast around the tank and now he is just moving along very slow. he is dying seems like and I dont know what to do to help. If ich doesnt kill, what could be killing my fish. How do I diagnose the problem? I have a growth of what appears to me to be red algae on the back glass of the tank...could that have anything to do with it?

have you done any of the above?
Well anyhow, this is just like working at a LFS, you have to diagnose, but people will never tell you the answers to questions of what may be contaminating the water..
Have you done any water changes yet? have you checked all the water parameters, have you added new carbon? Old carbon will leech out all the stuff it has pulled out. Carbon isnt good for very long in a saltwater system, if it has been in there longer than a week, i would remove it and put in new... if you arent using carbon, add some and do water change.
