    damsel life span?

I have a 3 yr. old dominoe damsel ive been trying to remove from my reef tank with no luck so far, and I was wondering what the average life span in an aquarium is?

That would depend on the aquarium and the skills of the aquarium's keeper. I would guess that something in excess of 12 years should be attainable.

I don't think thats what he wanted to hear!!! My bet is he wants the little guy OUT and can't catch the little bugger, so he is hoping it is going to CROAK!!!

Of course this wouldn't be the first time that I was wrong...

I've been known to feel this way about certain fish that I have... Not the fishies fault but our own, of course, but some just really are pain in the arse sometimes.
    Kind regards,

A little off the subject but there is a shop in Raleigh with a 9 year old Sphaeramia nematoptera. It's huge, ugly and old all at the same time but he's a cool fish.

Any fish that you dont want in your tank always lives too damn long. Had a 30 gal Freshwater with a huge ass Pleco in it. Hurricane Ivan came killed power for like a week temps in the tank 90's EVRYthing died all my salt water tanks and of course everything in the fresh water tank died BUT the pleco. You want a fish to live long start not liking it. You want a fish to die fast, make it your favorite basic Murphy's Law.
One can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those that can do nothing for them or to them.

Well, it is not very scientific but Murphy's Law has some meaning to it.
Not sure it quite works this way, though. ;)
