mixed reef
i have softies, lps and now sps.... zoos, xenia, gsp's...
what do i need to look out for as far as battles, competition, space.. which i dont have.. etc? I have a 50 gallon tank.. mag 7 return.. it returns from the right shooting left center.. i have a maxi jett 900 on the far left side middle if the glass, shooting right down the center.. and a maxi 400 back middle shooting right everything seems to have good flow.. all my sps are high mounted on the right side directly underneath my 175 w mh.. 10k any suggestions or advice?

I've always read that if any of your softies start to die you should remove them immediately cause most of them are toxic. I know my Sinularia is one of the worst. That's all I know.

and i do have a green sinularia............
colt. toadstool..lotsa kenya trees... xenia, zoos, open and closed brains, torch, bubble, 5 different sps.. dont have a clue what they are really... i do.. but i forget the names.. acro, mili, digi...

You might want to give this article a read over http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/nov2002/cw.htm I'll look for more becouse I know Eric had written another article on this subject but I lost all of my library of online articles that I had accumulated, unfortunately. Generally, it is a good idea to run some carbon in your sump or dedicated carbon filter to help in reducing some of the toxins that are being released by soft, and even some hard corals.Not only when they die but as a form of competition. For what its worth, some Acropora species had been implicated in the allelopathy as well as many soft and what we call "lps" corals.
