Reef Aquarium Maintenance Checklist
I've had freshwater aquariums for several years and am now expanding my hobby to a 75 gallon reef aquarium. I have been looking for a daily/monthly checklist to keep by my new tank. Is there such a thing already out there, or do I need to make my own in Excel? Thanks, ET

Welcome, I've been here 2 days and let me tell you this is a great place to learn! At the top of the page you can log all your maintinence fro lighting to water changes, tests and filtration maintinence. Click aquarium log and set yourself up! From what I've seen there are some very knowledgable people who frequent the site. Such as Ninong, Poseidon, & Samper. I'm learning alot just from surfing and reading their posts. Hi Don,
Thanks, this log looks great! I plan to use it, but need a "paper" product as well. I'm a pilot and am gone alot. I want to have something for my husband and son to use so my tank stays healthy. I may make one on Excel. Was hoping there was one an expert had already formated so I wouldn;t miss anything important. ET |

If you need a paper version of the log/journal type, try www.aquariumjournals.com , Marine edition. It has refillable sections to record just about everything.

I decided to make my own checklist and log book using Excel and Word. This way I can have paper copy for my family to refer to and fill out, and also have it in a data base for easy tracking. I did Daily and Monthly Checklists, livestock form, a photo tracking sheet, and an expense tracking form. Are there any other items I should include?
