can someone plz help identify this???????

hey i was wondering if anybody knew what this is. it has doubled in size since it started growing on the rock. we have only had this rock for about 4 months. its very smooth looking and has some sort of holes in it. any help would be appreciated, i have not had any luck trying to identify. thanks

Probably some sort of encrusting sponge.

Not sure, but I would leave it and let it grow personally. Can't get a hold of a better filter feeder.
