any tips for catching large fish

hey all, does anybody have any tips for catching large fish? I would like to get rid of my blue morph tang, my foxface rabbit fish, and possibly my naso tang. i want to get them out now and give them away b4 they get to much bigger. but i cant seem to get them out. i have tried putting a bottle in the tank, putting food in it and hoping they go in. ( haha) we are trying to avoid taking the rocks out, as we have many corals grown on to alot of our rocks. thanks in advance for any advice u guys might have.

I also would like to know, it would have come in handy in the past and perhaps in the future as well.

We may need to seperate our two blue hippo tangs in the future! When we tried before it was a nightmare and we gave up after an afternoon of trying.

I have seen "fish traps" by something called fish trapese?? are they any good, seems a bit expensive for £25???

(Don't buy a corner aquarium! They save space but cost a hell of a lot more in the long run! )

We had to dismantle the whole tank to get our foxface and blue morph out!! Had to remove all 117 lbs. of live rock ! But, in the end it was worth it.

easy fishin' !

I have a 72 bow with a large amount of live rock that I am too lazy to move. I bought a Ultralife fish/ eel trap. Put it in a corner of the tank with the open end FACING the current and run the fishing line that shuts the trap ten feet away. Use a turkey baster and blow a small bit of food into the trap (throw away the "bait can" that comes with the trap , its useless ) . Then , drop some food near the front of the trap and let the fishies come
With this trap , I have managed to catch a super skittish large koran angel , 3 mean damsels , and a scooter blenny. It has never taken more than 2 nights of watching tv to get them , I just tied the trap line to a little rock on the floor and kicked it when the fish went in . The current blowing into the trap swirls the food and the fish come out when you are far from the tank
hope this helps

I agree the trap is the way to go, it will not hurt the fish, as we speek i have a trap in my 75 gallon reef getting my hippo tang out he has outgrown my tank, i got him the size of a nickle and he's also eating my zoo' and brain, some do that as they get larger, good luck.
