Hey all,
It's been a long time and a few moves since I spent much time here. I've even had to put most of my reef ambitions on hold until I have a more permanent dwelling.
Anyway, I was hoping you all could help me out. I was recently discussing Sand with a reptile keeper friend of mine and I was explaining about southdown vs. other playsands and Silica. etc etc etc.
I mentioned to her that A year or more ago I saw some pictures of the various sand types under the microscope. She asked if I could find them, because they may be of some interest to the reptile community.
Unfortunatly, my googling has been to no avail. I use dto frequent Reefland, Reef Central and reefs.org and I honestly can't remember where I saw it. All I remembered is that it showed various CaribSea products, southdown and Silica sand granuals under the microscope.
Does anyone remember this and/or have pics/links for it? I'd really appreciate it.
