Like the title says I'm wondering what the best clams are to keep in a 55 gallon reef tank with pc lighting. I know Crocea are out of the question but what other types to well with some bright flourescent lighing?

Tridacna derasa, squamosa, hippopus, and gigas can all do well under PC or VHO lighting when placed 16" or less from the bulbs. For clams less than 4" in length I recommend feeding phytoplankton also.

Watch out for those T. derasa and T. gigas clams, they grow very quickly and get very large. ;) The blue rimmed T. derasa clams that are commonly available sure are pretty though.
Thanks guys you've been a great help!
