Question lawnmower blenny aggressive????

hey all i have a small problem. my father in law has a 55 gal tank, and in 2 days has lost a maroon clown, and a flame angel. well he just called to tell me his blenny is now hitting his yellow tang pretty hard, but he doesnt think its biting it. has anybody ever heard of a blenny like that being aggressive to the point of killing others? ive got one but its very peaceful. as for the dead fish, he said they didnt have any marks or anything on them. i tested his tank yesterday but his water parms. were fine (amonia 0, nitrate 2, and nitrite 0). he also said he hasnt used any cleaning chems. by the tank, but he did clean the carpet the other day. do u think that maybe the chemical might have misted into the water??? i dont know if it did, but im running out of ideas as to why his fishing are dying. any ideas would be very helpful thanks

I try not to use any chemicals in or around the room my tank is in. In fact I got my carpets cleaned the other day by a company called H20 cleaners. They use all water and no chemicals but the carpet looks great.

I've never heard of a Salarias fasciatus attacking a fish and can't understand why one would since they feed on algaes.

yeah i didnt think it was very likely that the blenny is knocking off fish, but my father in law saw him hit his yellow tang, and thought that maybe he killed the other two. do all carpet cleaners have a system like the one u used or is it only certain companies. thats a good idea, never heard of a company using that kind of system, but with the tanks that sounds really good.

Well I've been looking around for a little while and about 2 weeks ago I saw a commercial on Tv advertising carpet cleaning with no chemicals so I called em up. For $70 bucks they cleaned my entire apartment and the carpet looks great. The price was actually on the low side compared to the companies that use chemicals. I don't know how they do it but they run a series of hoses from their van, One is a water line, one is compressed air and they tie into a vacuum. It almost sounded like they were powerwashing the carpet but things were relatively dry when they finished.

The Centropyge loriculus is known to be a hard fish to keep. I've seen a few people recommend them only for the advanced aquarist with a well established tank but most clown species are pretty hardy. I hope someone else will chime in later with some further assistance.
