    New Tank help!!

I have never had a saltwater tank, but one of my friends is giving me his 85 gallon acrylic tank. Since I am new to this I was hoping someone could give me some tips on the best way to transport and get this tank going. He says it has a spill over media pre filter, a 15 gallon lower sump tank, a nice pump, 4 48 inch bulbs (2 of which are actinic high blue bulbs and 2 are 10000K white bulbs), 2 heaters, coral, live sand and rock, a tomato clownfish and 2 other fish that are unidentifiable to me... maybe when I can take pics I'll have you help me identify them. But first things first. Anyway, as far as I can tell, this equipment seems adequate. Are there any tips you can give me on relocating this tank and its inhabitants? I appreciate your help in advance

How far do you have to move it? Just curious as I had to move my tank from Tulsa, Ok to Chicago, IL and back again 2 years later. This is how I did it. Get plenty of like rubber maid containers. I got mine at Wal-Mart. They where around 20 gallons each. Seems like they where around 6 or 7 bucks each. I wanna say I used around 6 or 7 for my 72 bow. You may wanna get 2 or 3 more though. Syphon the water into the tubs and put the rocks in there. Besure not to put so much water and rock in each tub that its to heavy to carry. I used 2 5 gallon buckets to move the fish and corals in. Leave enough water in the tank to keep the sand slightly submerged as this will help from having to much bacteria die off. You are going to have some of this anyway. Get the tank set up where you want it and then syphon the water from the tubs back into the tank while adding the rocks as the water gets deep enough for them. 24-48 hours later do a PWC. Hope this helps. Good luck!
