    New goby

Here are some pictures of my new Tiger Sleeper goby. He really keeps the detritus stirred up, especially under the rocks. I swear that my skimmer is pulling out more crud since I move this fish to the tank! Also eagerly eats frozen food. These gobies can apparently be difficult to feed properly, but this one has been through a month of quarantine. Fascinating fish.

I also threw in a shot I took of my cardinals, mostly because they got in the way while I was trying to get a decent shot of the goby.

i had a gold head sleeper goby and it had a great personality.it ate frozen food, sure it was pretty cool. but he would dump sand on every coral near or on the SB. my tubastrea wouldn't open for a week, my brown polyps were always covered with sand my heliofungia would've probably died if i hadn't traded the goby back, and i had to constantly level out the sand.i payed $19.99 and got back $14.99 so it was a pretty good deal though i would still give it back for free!

This goby does not seem to dig as deep as some of the other sifters, at least so far. Time will tell, I guess. The cardinals are apongen leptacanthus . They often school nicely, especially when there is any disturbance in or around the tank. When things are quiet, they tend to separate. The two in the picture seem to be a pair. They have exhibited what looks like mating behavior, but I haven't seen them spawn. They are great reef fish if you don't have any aggressive fish to bully them.
