Need lights

Hey everyone

looking for lights for my 90 gal. reef tank. Want to use compacts. Question is can I DIY these lamps and what is necessary to do it.

Also, how long does it take till the Southdown in my tank stops clouding up the tank everytime I touch it? Will it ever settle down and not make such a storm within the tank? Also, what and when should I add some sifters for the sand?

it will never settle down.. it will compact and be less free floating, but anytime the sand is didturbed it will get messy..
with time and age.. the bacteria forms on the sand, making it heavier and such and it will clear or fal back to the bottom much quicker, but sand is sand...

as far as lights and Power compacts..not sure of the brand name of actual wattage, but my LFS has a new system that is 4 bulbs at i believe 130 watts each...
that seems pretty nice but your tank is deep..
