Algea Eating Nudibranches

Ok guys someone i know is getting rid of some stuff and hes got two of them...Are these guys safe for me to put in my tank and are they like sea cucumbers or apples where if they die there toxic?

The problem with most of the Nudibraches is keeping them fed. If they do not have enough algae to support their dietary needs, they will starve and die. I would suggest staying away from them.

Nudi question

Reef i got alot of algea that im not worried about.... Do they eat all kinds or just hair

Trust me, you do not have enough to sustain the Nudibraches appetite long term.

It would also help if we knew what exactly are you calling a Nudibranch. As far as I know none of the true Nudibranchs eat algae, they are predominantly specialized carnivores.By specialized I mean that they eat specific prey and that alone.

If you are talking about some sea slugs, specifically a sacoglossan like Elysia crispata or some other Eulysia species, I totally agree with Scott. They hardly ever persist in aquariums long term.
