Brine Shrimp Hatchery Mix
I bought some Brine hatchery mix has anyone ever hatch these in their tank instead of a differant tank and then putting into tank too feed would this cause a big mess. Thanks WORM

Well...if you try hatching these in your tank, you may want to do it in a separate container in the tank? The reason is fish and other invertebrates will/may eat up the eggs as you place them in the tank.
I would suggest you take a simple two liter bottle, cut the bottom off, drill a hole in the cap for an airline tubing to go in. Then let the eggs hatch that way. Then you can just sieve the baby brine and feed it to the tank. Much cleaner, imo. - Elmo |

Hatching water should never come in contact with your tank water as it can harbour harmful bacteria. The cysts can also be a problem for some fish if they eat them.
It's so easy to hatch them in an inverted pop bottle that it's not worth the risk to your tank to try hatching them in the tank. RAISING BRINE SHRIMP
