Carpet Help

I have a green carpet and it has been doing well for about a month and last night i found it shriveled up in the corner. Should I take it out? Should I leave it in? HELP!

Hi Brad,
They can do that and not be dead or dying, just expelling waste. They are very hard to keep and need intense lighting and near perfect water conditions to keep them long term. If you see it starting to come apart or have cottony tufts it needs to removed. You need to be careful when removing it. Place a bag or container underwater near the anemone and gently coax it into the container. Do not try to lift it out of the water. They tend to break apart and it is very difficult to retrieve the pieces. You can experience a ammonia spike if it is left in the tank to decay.

Today I found him with his mouth almost completly inside-out... hes still very sticky but looking worse. My water is near perfect, and i have plenty of light..... MH, and PC's
